When will I receive my timetable?

When can I collect my student/library card?

When will you make a decision on my application?
Back to questions listOnce we have received your application from UCAS we will usually make a decision within 3-5 working days and this will be communicated to you 24 hours later via UCAS.
Can I defer my offer?
Back to questions listIf you wish to defer your offer please contact the Admissions Team at somadmissions@surrey.ac.uk.
I’ve received an offer, what should I do now?
Back to questions listIf you wish to accept our offer you will need to advise UCAS whether or not you wish to and make the University of Surrey your "Firm" or "Insurance" choice. Please check with UCAS for the deadline date. If you do not advise UCAS of your decision, your offer will be automatically "rejected by default".
Can I apply for more than one programme at the School of Management / University of Surrey?

UCAS charges a one-off fee to register with them. Please
see the UCAS website for details.
How do I get an offer?
Back to questions listThe School of Management Admissions Board will review each application on an individual basis. If you satisfy the entry requirements you will be made conditional / unconditional offer (applicants that are made conditional offers are usually pending final A-Level (or equivalent) results which come out in August of each year). Once the School of Management Admissions Board have made a decision on your application this will be communicated to you by letter via UCAS within 24 hours of the decision being made. You can also check whether or not a decision has been made on UCAS ‘track’.
When do I have to meet all my offer conditions?

How many times can I defer my offer?

Is there a closing date for applications?

I have a conditional offer but have not met the conditions, what should I do?
Back to questions listInform the School of Management Admissions Office immediately as we may be able to make you alternative offers. If we are unable to do so, we can defer your offer until the following year, thus giving your more time to meet the conditions.
What is the difference between a conditional offer and an unconditional offer?
Back to questions listA conditional offer is one that requires you satisfy the entry requirements prior to you starting the degree course in September. Most commonly, a conditional offer will be made to applicants waiting to sit their final A-Level exams. An unconditional offer will be made to an applicant who has already satisfied the entry requirements (i.e. has already obtained their A-Level scores (or equivalent) and meet our minimum entry requirements).
Who makes the decision on my application?
Back to questions listThe School of Management Admissions Board. The Admissions Board constitutes several senior academic staff and administrative staff specifically responsible for admissions. Each application is assessed on an individual basis.
How can I accept my offer?
Back to questions listIf you wish to accept our offer you will need to advise UCAS whether or not you wish to and make the University of Surrey your "Firm" or "Insurance" choice. Please check with UCAS for the deadline date. UCAS will then advise the University of your decision.
