Research resources

These links are to sites that have articles, reference materials and other resources of interest to researchers:

  • The NLP Research and Recognition Project: the NLP Research and Recognition Project, Inc. is an independent not-for-profit corporation dedicated to advancing the science of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
  • NLP World: edited by G. Peter Winnington and published from 1994 to 2001, it is the closest anyone has come so far to an academic-style NLP journal (as distinct from a magazine for practitioners). The site lists tables of contents (first pages of most articles are accessible); back issues are available.
  • The NLP Research Database: this site lists abstracts of empirical studies into NLP, many of which are student dissertations. The database, developed originally by Dr Daniele Kammer at the University of Bielefeld in Germany, is of considerable value to anyone researching NLP. In early 2008 it was updated by Dr Frans-Josef Huecker, who added more than 100 new publications.
  • The European Association for Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy: the EANLPt website has a Research page that summarises a number of studies that are relevant to NLP psychotherapy.
